Overview

Oxalis Tech partnered with FBM Rice Mill to design and build a custom digital platform that manages their entire rice production and sales process.

From buying paddy from farmers, tracking storage and milling, to selling finished rice and managing customer credit, the system connects every part of FBM’s operations in one place.

The platform gives FBM real-time visibility into stock, production yields, costs, and profits — enabling better decisions, improved efficiency, and long-term business growth.

The Challenge

FBM operates a high-volume rice milling business, handling paddy purchases from farmers, storage, processing into multiple rice grades, and distribution to customers — all while managing credit, payments, and profitability.

However, their operations were fragmented across manual records and disconnected tools. This made it difficult to maintain accuracy, control costs, and gain real insight into business performance. Key challenges included:
